Hiking to Nagi Gumba (SHIVAPURI NATIONAL PARK)

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is situated on the north side of Kathmandu valley. The park headquarters is located in Panimuhan village of ChapaliBhadrakati VDC of Kathmandu district. The headquarters is at 12 kilometers away from Kathmandu downtown.


The last moment planned trip to Shivapuri national park was amazing. We decided to take a bus to Narayanthan. After that, we planned to walk.  We went to the ticket counter and we bought the ticket. Normally for Nepalese citizens, the ticket was priced Rs 125  including VAT. So our hiking to Shivpuri national park started. The group of 6   individual members had adventurous hiking. We took the shortcut route which didn't work well and we canceled that route. As walking further we found hiking to Shivpuri national park was worthless for us as we couldn't walk more. We got tired after walking several kilometers. We took rest for a while and again a trip was planned to Nagi Gumba which was about 12 km. We had lots of fun during our hiking. We had stupid conversation, talk, adventurous journey. We got to explore beautiful mountains, dense forest and many more.











More than a trip it was beautiful memories that we created.  We also played cards there and it was too fun to play cards. Away from the crowd it is a beautiful place for hiking.
